Go-karts, bumper cars, hamburgers, beer and other super-entertainments are open on Highway 1.

Edison. Families and thrill-seekers can look forward to the holiday season as Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey, the world’s largest indoor multi-story go-kart and entertainment center, opens Dec. 19 in Edison.
On December 15, a ribbon-cutting grand opening was held at 987 US-1, next door to TopGolf. It is the company’s second and largest branch in the US, with the first opening in Wrentham, Massachusetts in 2019.
The 16-acre, 131,000-square-foot arena’s biggest attraction are two uniquely designed kart tracks that can be combined into one 80,000-square-foot super track. The 18-horsepower all-electric kart really sets you up for a top speed of 45 mph.
“It’s very exciting to host an event like this in the city of Edison,” Mayor Sam Joshi said at the opening.
“Supercharged Entertainment Edison is for everyone – couples, families, kids, groups and companies. We are so excited to be able to showcase all the exciting and crazy entertainment our Edison venues have to offer across the state of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania,” said Steven Sangermano, President of Supercharged Entertainment.
“On behalf of our entire Supercharged Edison team, we are grateful to the entire Edison community and the State of New Jersey for such a warm welcome,” added CEO Sandra Sangermano.
Opening hours are being specified, but prices have been announced. Go Karts start at $29 per race, Bumper Cars are $7 per race, and Drop & Twist Towers are $9 per person. The arcade games use PlayCards and prices range from $5 for 20 credits.
Supercharged Entertainment also employs over 550 people with a minimum wage of $17 an hour. Interested parties should send resumes to CareersNJ@SuperchargedE.com.
