Ready, ready, go! World’s largest indoor go-kart track to open in Edison (+ slideshow)

The world’s largest indoor go-kart track is about to open in New Jersey.
Supercharged Entertainment, located at 987 Route 1 in Edison, will fire up the engines on December 16 at its 131,000-square-foot facility.
The 160-acre complex offers an 80,000-square-foot multi-level, temperature-controlled go-kart area with two unique tracks designed for 18 horsepower all-electric karts. The 160-acre complex offers many other attractions, including:
Supercharged Entertainment Edison also has Burger & Brews, a full-service restaurant serving burgers, freshly cut fries, and smoothies. For guests over 21 years of age, the establishment has two full-service bars offering over 30 draft beers, cocktails and specialty drinks in the sports bar with large screen TVs.
Steven Sangermano, president of Supercharged Entertainment, said in a statement that the company is delighted to celebrate the opening of “what we believe must be the finest all-round karting and entertainment venue in New Jersey and the world.”
